PROSTRATE CANCER: FACTS WE NEED TO KNOW.

Prostrate cancer begins when cell in prostrate gland start to grow on controllable. This prostrate gland is gland found only in male. Many men within the developing Nation like Nigeria especially the uneducated do not have adequate knowledge about the cancer, while others do not even know about the existence of the cancer because the awareness rate through the media is very poor on like the breast and cervical cancer. The exact causes of this cancer are not certain but it has a lot of risk factors. This cancer is rare among men from 45 years below but it is mostly common among men at the age of 50 above. Genetic factor is one of the most causes of prostrate cancer. A man has higher risk of this cancer if he has an identical twins that has it, and tela man whose brother or father has it is also likely to have it to. It has also been confirmed that a diet high in red meat or high fat dairy product may increase a persons chances of developing it. This cancer is curable if it is detected on time through radiotherapy which is apply to the cancerous tumour because of its ability to control cell growth.. Patients suffering from this cancer may do a surgery to remove it from them. The most common symptoms of this cancer is enlargement of the prostrate which begins with the production of DHT (Dinydrationtestosterone) in men. Therefore any man with symptom of this cancer should see medical doctor.
